If you are using an email marketing solution to send and track your corporate newsletters and announcements, you are no doubt aware of the tracking feature. You are probably looking at open rates as well as clicks, etc.

But what are you doing with your tracking? Are you comparing it to previous issues? Comparing subject lines? It’s important to record differences in open rates to see what your particular audience likes. When you find something your audience likes, do more of it!

Also, be sure to track your clicks to see what products your customers and prospects are interested in. Look for trends in the reporting. After all, testing is the key in the email marketing game!
